Terms of Service

By installing, accessing, or using AutoSentra ("AutoSentra," "the App," "we," "us") from the Shopify App Store, you ("Merchant," "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or continue using the App.

To use AutoSentra, you must:

• Be the owner or an authorized administrator of an active Shopify store.
• Have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of the business operating that store.
• Be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction.

AutoSentra connects to your Shopify store through Shopify's Admin API to analyze your products, orders, refunds, and inventory levels. Combined with cost (COGS) data you enter yourself, AutoSentra calculates estimated product profitability, margin, and inventory risk, and surfaces alerts and recommendations based on that analysis.

AutoSentra's calculations are estimates intended to support merchant decision-making — they are not accounting, tax, financial, or legal advice. Their accuracy depends entirely on the completeness of the cost data you provide; the App cannot know your true costs unless you enter them.

New installs of AutoSentra receive a 14-day free trial with full Growth-tier feature access. No credit card is required to start the trial.

• The trial begins the moment the App is installed and ends automatically after 14 days.
• You may cancel at any time during the trial without charge.
• If the trial ends without a paid plan selected, access pauses — you will never be charged automatically without first choosing a paid plan.

AutoSentra is offered on two subscription plans — Starter and Growth — billed monthly or annually through Shopify's own Billing API. AutoSentra never collects or stores your payment card details directly; all charges are processed and collected by Shopify as part of your regular Shopify invoice.

• Subscription fees are billed in advance for the billing interval you select (monthly or annual).
• You can upgrade, downgrade, or change your billing interval at any time from the App's Billing page; changes take effect according to Shopify's standard proration rules.
• Prices are subject to change with notice posted in the App; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

Cancelling your subscription takes effect immediately, ends access to the App, and stops future recurring charges. Shopify issues a prorated credit for the unused portion of the current billing period.

• The prorated credit is calculated and applied through Shopify's billing system.
• If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at legal@autosentra.com and we will review the issue in good faith.
• Refunds, where granted, are issued through Shopify's billing system and may take one or more billing cycles to appear.

• You are responsible for the accuracy of any cost (COGS) data, thresholds, and settings you enter into AutoSentra.
• You are responsible for keeping your Shopify store's product, order, and inventory data in a state the App can read correctly.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Shopify admin credentials and staff accounts used to access the App.
• You will promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account that you become aware of.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the App's source code, except where permitted by law.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to damage or disable the App, Shopify's platform, or the infrastructure that supports either.
• Use automated means to access or scrape the App outside of its intended interface.
• Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the App to any third party without our written consent.

AutoSentra uses product-level performance evidence (for example, product titles, SKUs, Shopify product IDs, sell-through rate, margins, or days of remaining stock) to generate plain-language recommendations, in some cases using third-party AI providers such as OpenAI. Customer names, email addresses, postal addresses, and payment details are not included in these requests.

AI-generated recommendations are provided for informational purposes only. They are estimates based on patterns in your data and may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. You are solely responsible for evaluating and acting on any recommendation, and AutoSentra is not liable for business decisions made in reliance on them.

We aim to keep AutoSentra available and performing reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The App may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control, including outages of Shopify's own platform or our third-party infrastructure providers.

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

AutoSentra, including its software, design, branding, and underlying technology, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your own store while your subscription is active — nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the App to you.

You retain all rights to your own store data (products, orders, cost data, and settings). We do not claim ownership of your data; we use it only as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutoSentra and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data, arising from or related to your use of the App — including business decisions made based on its estimates, alerts, or recommendations.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the App in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.

• You may uninstall the App at any time from your Shopify admin, which ends your subscription and access.
• We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, or fail to pay applicable fees.
• Upon uninstallation or termination, your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our collection, use, and protection of your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into and forms part of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and post the revised Terms at this same URL. Continued use of the App after a change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
